Helping Students Start the School Year Prepared

The Back-to-School Blast-Off helps eligible Brevard Public Schools students start the school year ready to learn by providing free backpacks, school supplies, books, hygiene items, and access to valuable community resources.

The event is presented by the Supply Zone for Teachers, a program of Brevard Schools Foundation, and is made possible through the support of sponsors, volunteers, and community partners.

Who Is Eligible?

Eligibility requirements for the Back-to-School Blast-Off, including student attendance, Brevard Public Schools enrollment, participation in the Free or Reduced Lunch Program, and first-come, first-served distribution of supplies.

Students must meet all of the following requirements:

✓ Be enrolled in Brevard Public Schools

✓ Participate in the Free or Reduced Lunch Program

✓ Be present at the event

✓ Arrive while supplies are available

Important Information

The Back-to-School Blast-Off serves the first 2,000 eligible students.

Supplies are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

One backpack and school supply package will be provided per eligible student while supplies are available.

Before You Arrive

What Families Should Know

  • No registration is required.
  • Students must be present to receive supplies.
  • No documentation is required.
  • Supplies are available while supplies last.
  • Volunteers will assist families upon arrival.
  • Bottled water will be available during the event.
