Why Support the Supply Zone?

Many students in Brevard County arrive at school without the basic supplies they need to succeed. With more than half of all students living on the brink of poverty, purchasing school supplies often falls on teachers, who spend hundreds of dollars out of pocket each year to ensure their students have the essentials. The Supply Zone for Teachers helps alleviate this burden by offering free supplies to teachers, ensuring that every student has the tools to learn, regardless of their family’s financial situation.

Since its establishment in 2014, the Supply Zone has distributed over $7.5 million in supplies, impacting more than 207,000 students. The Supply Zone serves all 85 Brevard Public Schools through two levels of eligibility:

Additionally, Students in Transition liaisons from all schools are permitted to shop, ensuring that the most vulnerable students receive the support they need.

How Does Jeans Day Make a Difference?

By participating in Jeans Day, BPS employees directly contribute to the success of this vital program. Every $5 donation helps provide essential items such as pencils, notebooks, and art supplies that equip classrooms and empower students to focus on learning. Your support ensures that teachers can create an environment where all students, regardless of their circumstances, have the resources they need to thrive.
