Thank you to Michael Kahn, P.A., for the generous gift to the Lunch Angels program. Michael and his wife Roma have donated $7,612 to pay off all of the lunch debt for every student in Brevard Public Schools for the first semester!
This donation is in honor of the Brevard Federation of Teachers whom they have had the honor of representing for 37 years. The Kahn’s were inspired by a news story about a 9-year-old California boy who used his allowance to pay off the lunch debt of his 3rd grade class. This selfless act inspired them to pay off all lunch monies owed by Brevard school children. Michael and Roma hope that this act will inspire others to step forward to further help Brevard County school children.
