Keeping Girls in School with Feminine Hygiene Kits

In the US, nearly 1 in 5 girls have missed school because they lack access to feminine hygiene products. If a girl has to stay home every time she has her period, she will fall behind her classmates by 145 days.

When students begin to consistently miss school, their grades drop, their performance suffers, and learning stagnates. In an effort to keep this from happening, The Supply Zone has begun an initiative to distribute free feminine hygiene kits for the low-income and homeless girls in Brevard Public Schools.
