Help Review Senior Scholarship Applications

Support Brevard Public Schools students by volunteering as a scholarship application reviewer.

With more than 600 applications submitted this year, community volunteers are essential to ensuring each student receives thoughtful and fair consideration.

Why This Matters

Every scholarship application represents a student’s goals, effort, and future plans.

With a record number of submissions, volunteer reviewers help ensure each student receives thoughtful and fair consideration.

What to Expect

  • Reviews are completed online through the scholarship portal.
  • Each application takes approximately 10–15 minutes.
  • Volunteers are asked to review a minimum of 5 applications, which is approximately one hour of time.
  • Additional applications may be assigned based on your availability, and every additional review helps support students.
  • A scoring rubric and instructions will be provided by email.

Timeline

  • Reviews are currently underway.
  • Most reviews are completed by April 6.
  • If additional flexibility is needed, please contact us.

Who Can Volunteer

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Community members, partners, and supporters are welcome
  • No prior experience is required

Even a small time commitment can make a meaningful difference.

Important Notes

  • Applicant names are mostly blinded during review process.
  • If you recognize a student, you may request reassignment.
  • The platform is mobile-friendly, though reviewing on a computer may be helpful when viewing attachments.
