The Brevard Schools Foundation is looking for a Development Coordinator – Special Events/Grants. This is a full-time, on-site role, located at our offices at the Brevard Public Schools Educational Services Facility. The Development Coordinator-Special Events/Grants supports the overall development and relationship building efforts of the Foundation to raise funds for school and Foundation programs.

Grant goals include managing existing grants, securing new grants, and seeking funding for general operating support.

Special event goals include working with committees and/or stakeholders in the creation, planning, execution and follow-through of the Foundation’s established fundraising, and recognition events.  Our events include an annual gala, golf tournament, ABC Awards recognition event, and annual raffle.

Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, event management or related field with 3 years of event management and 1 year of grant writing experience. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, and Canva or Adobe Creative Suite preferred. Ability to work with Microsoft Excel is a must.
