VIERA –Tickets and sponsorships are now available for the Brevard Schools Foundation 19th Annual Golf Invitational Weekend presented by Heard Construction. The activities begin on June 7th with a drawing for $5,000 to be given away at the “Stroke of Luck” party, sponsored by Community Credit Union, taking place at Keith and Lila Buescher’s 10-acre estate on Merritt Island. The next day, golfers will take to the links at Duran Golf Club.
“The annual golf weekend is a really fun way to support education, even for non-golfers,” said Janice Kershaw, executive director for Brevard Schools Foundation. “Because of the tremendous participation of our generous guests and sponsors, we have been able to better support our schools with projects like the new Supply Zone for Teachers.”
Tickets to the party are $100 each, admit two to the party and a chance to win $5,000. Guests will enjoy music, food by Beef O’Brady’s, silent auction, Island Green golf challenge, putting contest, the all new Smash Golf Challenge and more. Come wearing your silliest golf attire! A maximum of 350 tickets are available and the winner of the $5,000 drawing need not be present to win.
The four play scramble includes a morning golf clinic, continental breakfast, formal luncheon in the Duran Golf Club dining room and plenty of golf contests and surprises. The hole-in-one prize is an Audi sedan from Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi of Melbourne. Corporate foursomes are available beginning at $1,200, including two tickets for the drawing, with other sponsorships starting at $250.
Proceeds from the event will support educational enhancements sponsored by Brevard Schools Foundation for the benefit of Brevard Public Schools.
