41 Brevard Seniors Graduated with Two-Year College Scholarships!
On Thursday, April 17, 2025, Take Stock in Children of Brevard proudly hosted its annual Graduation and Induction Ceremony at Eau Gallie High School Performing Arts Center. The event honored 41 graduating seniors who have earned two-year college scholarships through their commitment, resilience, and hard work.
Many of these students began their Take Stock journey in 8th grade, receiving weekly mentorship, college success coaching, and ongoing support from the program and community. Of the 41 graduates, 28 are the first in their families to attend college, and two are the first to graduate high school. Several were also recognized for additional academic achievements, including completion of AICE diplomas and Associate of Arts degrees from Eastern Florida State College.
The evening featured inspirational remarks from:

Janice Kershaw, President & CEO of Brevard Schools Foundation
-
Dr. Mark Rendell, Superintendent of Brevard Public Schools
-

-

Special recognition was given to students earning A.A. degrees and AICE diplomas, as well as those entering military service after graduation. The Outstanding Senior Award was presented to Jessica Bui, a member of the TSIC Class of 2025.
The evening concluded with the induction of new Take Stock scholars who are just beginning their journey with the program.
We extend heartfelt thanks to our Take Stock mentors, the TSIC Leadership Council, and to Dr. Kathy Pearce and Jeff Pearce for generously donating filled backpacks to all of our graduating seniors.
