Brevard Schools Foundation is proud to continue our partnership with Florida KidCare, the state’s affordable, high-quality health and dental insurance program for children from birth until age 19.
As the new school year begins, we know that a healthy child is better prepared to learn, grow, and succeed. Yet, thousands of children in Florida start school without the coverage they need. Florida KidCare is here to change that.
Why Florida KidCare?
-
More than 2.2 million children are already covered through Florida KidCare.
-
An estimated 157,000 uninsured Florida children may be eligible for free or low-cost health and dental coverage — but are not yet enrolled.
-
Families can apply year-round with no application fee, and Florida KidCare will match each child to the plan that best fits their needs.
