BREVARD COUNTY, FL—Brevard Schools Foundation is excited to announce that it has received significant funding from Disney Cruise Line to help ensure local students are prepared for a successful school year. The grant will continue to support three crucial initiatives that provide essential resources and opportunities for Brevard Public Schools students.
The funding includes:
- The Supply Zone for Teachers – A free resource center providing teachers with the school supplies they need to support classroom instruction, and the Back-to-School Giveaway event, which offered backpacks filled with essential supplies for students in need.
- Take Stock in Children – Brevard Program – Supporting mentoring, college readiness, and scholarship opportunities for underserved students in grades 7-12. This initiative connects students with mentors, guiding them toward academic success and college preparedness.
- Endeavour Elementary School – Providing the school with resources to meet the unique back-to-school needs of its students, ensuring that every child has access to necessary materials and support for a successful start to their educational journey.
With over 57% of Brevard Public Schools students qualifying for free or reduced-price lunch, many families face challenges when it comes to affording basic school supplies. This grant will help ease those burdens and equip thousands of students for success in the classroom.

Crew members from Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Wish joined forces with Brevard Schools Foundation as VoluntEARS to support the Supply Zone for Teachers’ 23rd annual Back-to-School Blast-Off. Held at Clearlake Education Center on Friday, July 19, 2025, this event provided thousands of backpacks filled with essential school supplies to students in need across Brevard Public Schools. We are grateful for Disney’s continued partnership and commitment to educational equity in our community.
