Avery’s Light Annual Memorial Golf Tournament Benefits Brevard Schools Foundation to Provide School Supplies to Children in Need

Viera, FL — Avery’s Light is pleased to announce Brevard Schools Foundation as the beneficiary of its

Memorial Golf Tournament to be held June 3, 2017 at Indian River Preserve Golf Club in Mims, Florida. The proceeds from this year’s tournament will directly benefit the Brevard Schools Foundations’ Supply Zone for Teachers, a resource center for teachers that serves 22 of the highest poverty schools in Brevard County. 100% of the monies raised in this tournament will be used to provide school supplies for children in need across Brevard County.

For the past five years, the family of Avery Diane Hanson have organized a memorial golf tournament raising funds and donating the proceeds to charities in honor of their infant daughter. The Foundation’s Supply Zone for Teachers was chosen as the recipient of the funds for this year’s tournament to celebrate what would have been the beginning of Avery’s Kindergarten year. Since the Hanson family cannot send Avery to school this fall, they want to be sure they help other children come to school with needed school supplies so they are prepared and ready to learn.

Sponsorship and general information about Avery’s Light Annual Memorial Golf Tournament is available by visiting www.averyslight.com or calling 321-591-8655.
