The ABC (Applauding Brevard’s Champions) Awards Events, presented by Community Credit Union and hosted by Brevard Schools Foundation, will recognize 94 Teacher of the Year (TOY) honorees from across the Schools and Departments of the Brevard Public Schools.

The ABC Awards recognizes outstanding education professionals for their contributions to their schools and communities. The program honors all school and department nominees, and six finalists who have demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication in the performance of their jobs, thereby earning them the respect and admiration of students, teachers, administrators, co-workers, and parents. The winner will represent Brevard Public Schools in the Florida Teacher of the Year program.
In addition to the Teacher of the Year announcement, 38 Rookie (1st year) Teachers, 30 Emerging (2nd year) Teachers will also be honored with the winner for each category announced. Volunteers play a key role in helping students, teachers, parents and administrators and we will honor 23 Youth Volunteers, 51 Adult Volunteers, and 28 Senior Volunteers and name the winner of each of these categories.
The Employee of the Year was named at a ceremony in November 2023 and along with the 5 other finalists will also be recognized as well as the Administrator and Assistant Administrator of the Year.
