Giving Children the Tools they Need to Succeed
Every year, the Back to School Giveaway Event helps Brevard County students start the school year off right. The Supply Zone works with local businesses, organizations, churches and individuals to provide free supplies to families who cannot afford to purchase their own.
Last year, students who qualified for the Free or Reduced Lunch Program were given brand new backpacks, school supplies, books, hot lunches, dental screenings, and gift certificates to Hair Cuttery.
This year, we will host the 16th Annual Back to School Giveaway Event on July 28, 2018, and we plan to give 2,000 students these free supplies. But we cannot do this alone. Whether you collect school supplies, make a financial contribution, or volunteer, your involvement can help us put supplies into the hands of students who need them before school starts.
