DESCRIPTION:The Brevard Schools Foundation Office will be closed as of 4PM on Friday\, December 22\, 2023 until 8AM on Monday\, January 8\, 2024. Due to a planned and extensive project in the Educational Services Building of Brevard Public Schools\, where the Foundation Offices are located\, there will be no power nor network availability throughout the campus. \nThe Foundation Office is closed for Winter Break from December 25 through January 1. While staff will resume work on January 2\, they will be working remotely and have no access to voicemail or email due to the power and network project. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. \nIf you need to contact the Foundation urgently\, we suggest you message us through our Facebook page. Please use the Messenger feature for private messages. \nIf you are looking to make an end of year donation\, our Donation page will be available and all gifts processed by 11:59PM EST on December 31\, 2023 will be considered 2023 donations. You may also mail a check to the Brevard Schools Foundation office\, 2700 Judge Fran Jamieson Way\, Melbourne\, FL 32940. SUMMARY:ABC Awards Week – Teacher Leadership Council’s Teacher of the Year Summit
DESCRIPTION:The Brevard Public School’s Teacher Leadership Council will hold its annual Teacher of the Year Summit to kick off the ABC Awards Week. This event\, sponsored by the Brevard Schools Foundation\, will occur on Wednesday\, January 31\, 2024\, from 9:00am – 3:00pm at the Rockledge Country Club\, 1591 S. Fiske Blvd\, Rockledge. \nInvitations will be sent to each school’s 2023-2024 Teacher of the Year as well as the 2022-2023 Rookie and Emerging Teachers of the Year. \nThe Teacher Leadership Council works to promote teacher advocacy\, leadership\, communication\, and service throughout our school district by sponsoring special events\, communicating with teachers\, collaborating with district leadership\, and supporting new teachers. During the Summit\, teachers will participate in a day of celebrating accomplishments by engaging with colleagues in meaningful dialogue and collaborative learning activities. \nTeachers will be able to register for the Teacher of the Year Summit on Frontline beginning on Monday\, January 8\, 2024.
