DESCRIPTION:Hurricane Milton | Update #3 – October 8 at 1PM \nDue to the latest projected track of Hurricane Milton\, and a slowdown of the storm’s arrival in Brevard County\, Brevard Public Schools have decided all BPS schools/offices will remain closed on Friday\, 10/11.  This closure also pertains to all Foundation Offices. \nAs a reminder\, all offices are still scheduled to be closed tomorrow\, Wednesday\, 10/09 and Thursday\, 10/10. \n \nOffices are expected to be open on Monday 10/14. \nWe strongly encourage everyone to continue to follow the recommendations from Brevard County Emergency Management (Brevard EOC). Brevard Public Schools and Brevard Schools Foundation will continue to work collaboratively with the EOC on any changes or updates. \n****************************** \nUPDATE #2 – October 7 at 3PM – The Foundation offices will Close at 3PM on Tuesday\, 10/08. Staff may be in the office or remote. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns. \nAs of now\, we still anticipate reopening on Friday\, 10/11. \n****************************** \nUpdate 3! – As of 7PM on October 6\, 2024 – Due to Hurricane Milton\, all Brevard Schools Foundations will be closed Wednesday\, 10/09\, and Thursday\, 10/10. \nThis includes the Supply Zone for Teachers and the Take Stock in Children of Brevard program. \nShopping Days at the Supply Zone are cancelled for this week and will be rescheduled. Check your email for updated dates. \n  \nAt this time\, offices are expected to be open Monday\, 10/07\, and Tuesday\, 10/08 as well as Friday\, 10/11. \nAs the storm moves closer\, a more detailed forecast will be made available. We will update the website if anything changes. \nWe will follow the opening and closing schedule of Brevard Public School and make any adjustments as needed based on location and circumstances.
