DESCRIPTION:By Invitation Only \nBrevard Schools Foundation\, as part of a state funded student resiliency contract\, and invited community members will be engaging in essential conversations\, sharing knowledge\, and connecting around student engagement and wellbeing. \nOver the past several years students have been faced with many challenges\, both in school and in life\, that require coping skills. Development of strong coping skills plays an important role in students’ ability to manage and learn from challenges they face. Through community input from business\, parents\, community organizations\, educators\, and other stakeholders we will explore current Brevard Public School programs and state required initiatives for building student resiliency skills. \nThe unique experiences\, ideas\, and perspectives of community members will assist Brevard Schools Foundation\, as we partner with the school district\, to develop strategies to support student success by developing a network of support for engagement and wellbeing. \nIf you need more information or an invitation to the event\, please contact the Brevard Schools Foundation Office at (321) 633-1000\, extension 11756 or at info.bsf@brevardschools.org.
