Viera, FL – The Take Stock in Children program, a part of Brevard Schools Foundation, is hosting its 5th annual Reach for the Stars Gala on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Eau Gallie Yacht Club in Indian Harbour Beach.
Sponsor support ensures the Take Stock in Children can fulfill their mission of helping low income, at-risk students break the generational cycle of poverty by providing mentoring, education, and a 2 year college scholarship to make higher education possible for these children. Donations for scholarships are matched by the Florida Prepaid STARS foundation.
The Take Stock in Children of Brevard program has a 100% high school graduation rate of those enrolled in the program. Along with the success of students involved in Take Stock in Children, the Brevard program has earned Gold Level standing, the highest award available for the past two years for their impact in the lives of children.
Gala attendees will enjoy a beautiful venue, social networking, and delightful cuisine along with a silent and live auction featuring special guest appearances.
