VIERA, FLA. – Brevard Schools Foundation receives $1,000 from the Suntree Rotary Club in support of the Take Stock In Children program.
“We are honored to be the recipients of such a generous donation from the Suntree Rotary Club for deserving students of Brevard County,” said Amie Harris, Take Stock in Children Program Manager.
The donation will help provide operating support to the program for nearly 200 students in Brevard Public Schools. The students receive tremendous benefits through the Take Stock In Children program by agreeing to remain drug, crime and alcohol free, maintain good discipline and grades, and meet regularly with a mentor for the promise of a college scholarship upon graduation. Take Stock In Children has a 20 year history of providing scholarships, mentors and hope to the most deserving students in Brevard County.
