BREVARD COUNTY, FLA. – The Central Florida branch of Wells Fargo has named Yvonne McGuire the 2015 Brevard County Volunteer of the Year.
As the president of the Brevard Schools Foundation board of directors, Yvonne McGuire, has served as a volunteer leader at the same time the Foundation received recognition as ranking 16th in the nation and 1st in its division for supporting public education. Under her leadership, the Foundation opened the new Supply Zone for Teachers – an undertaking that would not have been possible without her leadership and volunteerism. “She was a tireless, dedicated volunteer in our community this past year and has made many connections to benefit the Foundation,” said Janice Kershaw, executive director.
McGuire will be recognized with a contribution to an eligible 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization or educational institution made in her name by Wells Fargo.
