More than 1 in 2 Brevard Students live in households that are struggling to purchase the basic necessities. Too often, school supplies are considered a luxury that their families cannot afford. These children go to school without supplies, and they struggle to perform at the same level as their peers.
This is why the Supply Zone for Teachers exists – to ensure that students have the tools they need to learn and succeed in the classroom.
The Supply Zone operates like a regular store, except all of the products on the shelves are free for teachers. They take items like backpacks, paper and pencils so that their students can perform to their full potential.
Students no longer have to feel disconnected, embarrassed, and unprepared; the supplies they need are ready and waiting for them in the classroom.
Of course, the Supply Zone could not provide this service without support from the community. Our program relies on donations from businesses, organizations, churches and individuals to keep the shelves stocked and the students outfitted with the necessary supplies.
For more information about the ways in which you can contribute, please visit the Supply Zone for Teachers page.
No donation is too small; every folder, every notebook and every pencil can make a difference in a local child’s life.
