Every year, the Back to School Giveaway Event helps Brevard County students start the school year off right. The Supply Zone works with local businesses, organizations, churches and individuals to provide free school supplies to families who cannot afford to purchase their own.
Last year, 1,600 students who qualified for the Free or Reduced Lunch Program were given backpacks filled with essential supplies. This year, we aim to increase that number.
On Saturday, July 30, we will host the 14th Annual Back to School Giveaway Event, and we hope to give 2,000 students free school supplies, backpacks, and lunches. But we cannot do this alone. Whether you collect school supplies, make a financial contribution, or volunteer, your involvement can help us put supplies into the hands of students who need them before school starts.
